Employment

All applicants must have reliable transportation, National Sex Offender Registry verification, and Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprinting, and PA State Police clearances that are less than one year old at date of hire and must meet vaccine requirements set by funding sources.

Teacher I  

Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Associate Degree in a related field and course work equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education with experience teaching preschool-age children. 

Teacher II 

Bachelor or Advanced Degree in Early Childhood (ECE) with a Pennsylvania Department of Education Teaching Certification.   

Current PA Driver’s License and reliable transportation 

  • Have a CDA credential or completion of at least 2 years of post-secondary study with a minimum of 60 college credits, or an Associate Degree or Higher.   
  • Current PA driver’s license and reliable transportation. 
  • Have a CDA credential or a state-awarded certificate that meets or exceeds the requirements for a CDA. 
  • Current PA driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be enrolled in a program that leads to an Associate or Bachelor Degree in an Early Childhood education or related field or enrolled in a CDA credential program to be completed with two years of the time of hire. 
  • Current PA driver’s license and reliable transportation   
  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • Current PA Driver’s license and reliable transportation 
  • Excellent driving record. 
  • Must pass initial and annual school bus driver’s physical exam and periodic TB screening. 
  • Must be registered on the drug and alcohol clearinghouse in accordance with the law. 
  • Must pass initial and random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the law. 
  • Class C with CDL and S&P Endorsement – (must be obtained within 60 days of hire with in-house classes and training being provided, if possible, or on your own).   
  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Must obtain, within eighteen months of hire, at a minimum, a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field. 
  • At least one year of experience in community organizing or group organizations. 
  • Demonstrated experience in recordkeeping, writing, and verbal abilities. 
  • Current PA driver’s license and reliable transportation.   
  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Minimum one-year experience working with young children 
  • Demonstrates writing, verbal, and computer skills
  • Reliable Transportation   
  • Must have a CDA credential or a state-awarded certificate that meets or exceeds the requirements for a CDA or enrolled in a program that will lead to an Associate or higher Degree or are enrolled in a CDA credential program to be completed within two years of the time of hire. 
  • Demonstrated writing, verbal, and computer skills. 
  • Current PA driver’s license and reliable transportation.   
  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • At least one year of successful work experience with young children in a professional setting or successful completion of a CAPCC Aide Internship. 
  • Reliable Transportation   
  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Experience with volume cooking and serving in public.
  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • One year experience in maintaining a house, apartment, and/or property.
  • Reliable transportation
